Pockets

Size & Color Information~

This is the home of the ORIGINAL "Pocket Frenchie". I coined the term when a dog groomer friend stuck one in her pocket eighteen years ago. These are NOT runts or preemies of poor health. They come from adults that are pockets and health tested. All pups come with a health guarantee for genetic AND structural, extensive puppy packet, potty training, BullyBaum new puppy kit, FREE access to the HDFrenchie community and a lifetime of support. I am always just a text, phone call, email or facebook message away.

About Pockets

RARE~ This is a specialized breeding program, I doubt there are any breeders who are specializing in breeding purebreds as small as mine. It has taken me 20 years of careful, selectively breeding healthy Frenchies to get these sizes. Our pockets require constant monitoring, feedings every two hours and stay in the incubator we found it necessary to design in order to meet their special needs, and ensure the mother doesn’t accidentally lay on them. We keep them until they are three months old for pockets and even longer if they are Itty-Bitty Pockets. We prefer they be closer to two pounds before leaving us.

If you are interested in purchasing one of our puppies, note that a $1k non-refundable deposit is required to secure a place on our puppy list. Purchasers should also be aware that all puppies require a c-section and artificial insemination, which contributes to the cost.

It has taken me many years to get them down to this size without compromising on health or looks!! Their success in the show ring, proves I adhere to the AKC breed standard quite successfully. I am the only breeder breeding purebred Frenchies of this size and definitely the only one breeding show quality French Bulldogs from show dogs and champion pedigrees in this size. If anyone says they are, ask to see the parents. If parents aren't pocket Frenchies they aren't purebred~! Don't settle for shortcuts with a cross bred dog, there is nothing like a purebred French Bulldog.

I keep them until older and of course being so rare and specialized care starting out, they cost a bit more. Total is due at time of puppy choosing and with signing of contract at that time for designated puppy. Pockets are tiny and for someone who wants to carry them around for the first 3 months after getting them, due to such small size and short legs. Puppies go to new homes depending on size, not age. The larger your puppy the sooner it can leave, between 9-13 weeks old.

If a breeder says they are breeding pockets, but doesn't have adult pocket Frenchies to show you, they're cross breeding and lying about being purebred. I don't know of any breeders breeding purebreds these sizes. Be aware my lightweight size is what other breeders call minis or micro.

My French Bulldogs~

My Frenchies want to be with you every chance they get. They are the perfect size for lap dogs; which works out well, since that is where they prefer to be. Pockets get carried almost everywhere until around 5-6 months due to their tiny size, so they are especially attached. I spend every waking moment with my  Frenchies and pups are raised by my side with lots of lap time and constant attention. I start with the “Super Dog” program from the time they are born until their eyes and ears open. This program was developed by the military for early neurological stimulation which starts that human bond early and makes them easier to train and faster to learn. The bond they develop with me is transferred to their new parents to continue.
